Guides, Guide services and their clients are excluded from the derby.

2009 Bandon Salmon Derby will run from September 8th thru October 31st.
There will be several drawings for cash and prizes.
Catch a Salmon and bring it in for a raffle ticket, regardless of size. The more Salmon you catch and record the better the chances you have to winning a great prize or some cash!
This year we are adding a juniors division.
We will have a drawing every two weeks and in the end of October we will be giving away some great prizes and cash!
The person that catches the biggest fish over all will be listed on the trophy that the Port of Bandon donated, and split the bonus prize money that will be collected in a separate pot with the person that catches the most salmon.
Salmon can be from any local waters not just the Coquille River.
No entrance fee. Dave & Eileen Schradieck owners of Bandon Beach Vacation Rentals started the Bandon Salmon Derby in 2008 and it is still going strong today.
